This book is amazingly written. Kim Johnson wrote such a heart gripping compelling story highlighting the struggles of being Black in American. It tackles the racial injustice in the criminal system. The relationships, interactions, and struggles were realistic. The release couldn’t be more painfully timely. Add this to your reading list ASAP. Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC.
