Thanksgiving is now over and I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving. If you were lucky enough to have a long weekend because of it, even better! If not I still hope you were able to enjoy the day.
Thanksgiving is a holiday all about giving thanks for the good things in our lives. However, we shouldn’t limit ourselves to only giving thanks one day of the year. Thanks and gratefulness should be expressed every single day.
Throughout this holiday season and beyond, show your thanks. Remember there is something to be thankful for every day, not just on Thanksgiving. It’s easier to remember this during the holidays but it’s after the holidays I want to remember this.
How was your Thanksgiving?
What are you thankful for?

Definitely had a good thanksgiving weekend. Ate a lot that’s for sure.
I’m thankful for a lot of things such as my boys, boyfriend, parents, siblings, family + friends. I’m thankful for the new friendships I’ve made through blogging.
Glad you have a good Thanksgiving! Eating a lot is part of the fun!
There is ALWAYS something to be thankful for! What a pleasant reminder š
Yes! I have such mixed feelings about Thanksgiving (since people starting venting about their lives on Facebook) because it’s the one day a year that so many of my friends express their thankfulness for things and then they go right back to complaining about the things they were thankful for. Like you said, there’s always something to be thankful for and thankfulness should be expressed all year long. Thanks for this timely reminder as we put Thanksgiving behind us and get back into our usual routines. š Happy Monday!
I completely agree! With my husband being stationed overseas right now, I do my best to look for something to be thankful for every single day no matter how small it may be.
I think finding something to be thankful for every day is a huge key in finding true happiness š
So true! I’m feeling even more thankful after the longe weekend š
so true! there is always something to be thankful for, i try and remind myself of this all the time.. it helps not growing up with thanksgiving haha so i don’t feel as compelled to be thankful in november like others, i reckon. i am thankful…. that it hasn’t snowed here yet!
What a great reminder! I am forever and always thankful for my amazing husband, wonderful kids, our extended family, our crazy dogs, warm home, and hot meals. Too often, people get way too caught up in life and forget to stop and see what they are truly blessed to have.
You have so much to be thankful for! š
What a great reminder. Wish people could take a moment everyday to think of something wonderful they appreciate in life.
Thank you! I always need to be reminded. I appreciate the good moments but I need to appreciate the moments no matter what they are. I tend to take things to literally or personally. I need to just relax, appreciate and be thankful.
So true! Thankfulness should last all year long!
I spent the long Thanksgiving weekend at California Adventure and Disneyland with my husband, kids, and his extended family. We ordered turkey and fixings from a restaurant. I was thankful I didn’t have to spend all day in the kitchen, but got to enjoy family and fun in sunny (but super cold) California. There’s definitely ALWAYS something to be thankful for š
