Over the last ten years, I’ve started becoming more aware of what I put into my body and on my body. The journey to a non toxic/low toxic life is just that, a journey. There’s always more learning to do and it doesn’t happen over night. If you asked me five years what the problem with fragrance is, I would have shrugged my shoulders. So no post of mine is ever meant to shame anyone. My goal is to share the knowledge I’ve gained to help you on your journey to clean living.
You’ll also find book reviews, the occasional home decor post, and my travel recommendations.

Meet Krystal
I started this blog in 2013 under a different name as my creative outlet from my 9-5. I then rebranded to The Krystal Diaries in 2015 and my writing has continued to evolve since then. I’m a born and raised New Yorker currently living in the suburbs but you’ll still find me in the city, once a city girl always a city girl! I love to go to brunch on the weekends and try new restaurants. Traveling is something I’m passionate about even if I don’t have unlimited time to do it! I have a B.A. in English and up until 2022 worked full time in the HR field. I’m now working 24/7 as a stay at home mom and on the blog.
