It’s Monday and that means another week of workouts has gone by. I’m trying to save myself some money and get into a routine of exercising at home. For the next few months you’ll see all my workouts will be at home. So we shall see how this goes.
Monday – Started out the week with a rest day. I know fitness enthusiast always say you should start the week off right by working out on Mondays but I was tired. I’m learning to listen to my body and not overdo it if I’m just not feeling it.
Tuesday – Seems like the 21 Day Fix will be a keeper. I’m glad I purchased these workouts even though they are slightly expensive. Dirty 30 is now up there with my fave at home exercise.
Wednesday – I was a serious overachiever today. As soon as I got home from work I popped in the 21 Day Fix and completed the Upper Body Fix, my second fave, and the 10 Minute Ab Fix. I am determined to have abs, at least baby abs. I’ll be good with those. Then it was onto Peloton Cycle, an at home spin class. More on that later this week.
Thursday – Pilates is my third fave & I love it for the days I need a little rest but still want to get a workout in. I wonder if the PiYo workouts are similar to Pilates? Any way, then I completed another 10 Minute Ab fix & I could swear I could see baby abs but I was probably just hallucinating.
Friday – Rest day because well it’s the end of the work week and I’d rather relax or go out after work not exercise.
Saturday – Early morning Peloton Cycle class to start the day off. Seriously, I’m so glad I found this at home spin option.
Sunday – Ended the weekend with another rest day.
Has anyone tried PiYo? Is it similar to Pilates?
If you workout at home how do you stick to a routine?
