Seriously Stitch Fix where have you been all my life? I feel like I’ve been out of the loop on some big secret. Thankfully, I am now in the know! Want more details on exactly what Stitch Fix is and how it works? Check out my previous post here.
After I received my very first box, I was so super excited about it, I quickly scheduled my next box for 2-3 weeks later. So here’s my review on those first two boxes.
Unfortunately, I did not take pictures of every item from my first box. I do still have these super helpful styling cards Stitch Fix sends with every box.
1. Deandra Chevron Print Vegan Leather Wristlet
On the card it doesn’t show the color but this clutch was the perfect shade of pink. There was light gold detailing in a chevron pattern. This clutch was the perfect size to fit everything in for night out. Unfortunately, about two weeks before I bought a Kate Spade clutch in the exact same size in a pinkish purple shade that was very similar.
Status: Returned (although it was a very hard decision)
2. Tenessy Chevron Print Maxi Dress
Oh how I adore maxi dresses in the Spring & Summer. They are so versatile & easy to dress up or down. The material of this maxi was super soft & I really liked the pattern. I liked it so much I already have another maxi in the same exact style with blue stripes.
3. Edmond Chevron Print Henley Shirt
The material of this top is super soft! This top was actually something I had on my Pinterest board. I loved that my stylist actually went through my board and sent me an exact item I wanted.
4. Remmie Multi-Color Chevron Print Maxi Skirt
I’ve never owned a maxi skirt before this one and my stylist knew that. Again because she paid attention to my notes on my Pinterest board. I love the fun pattern and colors on this skirt. This is definitely an item I would never have purchased for myself. After trying it on though it’s perfect.
5. Tracy Dot Print Cross Back Knit Top
This top was right up my alley. It’s blue with polka dots 🙂 I don’t have a picture of the back but there is cross detailing on the upper back portion. It’s not too low though as I’m not a fan of showing my back.
I kept 3 out of 5 items from my first box. Not too shabby.
Now my second box I did take pictures of everything. Why? Because I kept it all! Yes you read right. My stylist, Maranda C., hit it out of the park with this box and it was only my second! Since I kept every item, I received 25% off the total order. It can’t get any better than that.
1. Garland Geo Print Maxi Skirt
Since I liked my first maxi skirt so much, I requested a second one from my stylist. Again she listened! I love that. The green color of this will make it easy to transition into the fall months.
2. Tina Striped Open Cardigan
This was yet another item I pinned onto my Pinterest board. I’m telling you, Maranda C. pays attention! I’m a fan of stripes and pink clothing so this was a keeper. It did come to me in a small though and I prefer my cardigans in mediums but that’s ok because it still fit me just fine. It’s just a comfort preference. I liked it too much to send it back. I did make a note in my style profile letting my stylist know going forward to send me any cardigans in mediums.
3. Wilam Zig-Zag Print Top
Looking at this top in the box I thought I was going to hate it. After trying it on I really liked it and the color looked better on me than I thought it would. You should totally try everything on before you make a decision! You never know what will end up looking good on you.
4. Moni Stud Detailed 3/4 Sleeve Blouse
Again I love the color blue so I knew I would like this top right out of the box. How else did I know I would like it? It was another item I had pinned. It’s going to be really easy to dress this top up or down.
5. Corinna Striped Dolman Top
I must sound like a broken record now but I had this pinned too! The material of this top is slightly heavier but that’s ok with me as I’ll wear it during the fall & winter.
As you know I kept all 5 items. 3 out of 5 wear items I had on Pinterest which is amazing. I can’t wait to receive future boxes. If my stylist is doing this good already, she can only get better!
