BarkBox Review – February

February BarkBox

Rocco received his February BarkBox last Saturday and was beyond excited for it! How do I know? He told me… yes I’m that crazy dog owner who thinks my dog talks to me. Don’t judge 🙂

1. Harry Barker ($6)

Harry-Barker

This is clearly Rocco’s new favorite toy. It’s perfect for a big dog like Rocco because it’s strong and durable. This toy will last a nice long time before he destroys it. The best part is I can throw it in the washing machine to keep it from getting all grungy!

2. Cheese Please by Complete Natural Nutrition ($5.99)

Complete-Natural-Nutrition

These treats are grain free and made from 100% cheese, only three calories per treat and made in the USA. This is such a worry free treat. The ingredients list has only one thing – cheese! For a dog like Rocco who has such a sensitive stomach, I don’t have to worry about giving him these. The BarkBox description also said these could be used as human snacks too, but I think I’ll pass. Besides, I doubt Rocco is ok with sharing his treats with the hubby & I.

3. Max & Ruffy’s ($7.25)

Max-Ruffys

These treats are certified USDA organic. I swear Rocco eats healthier than I do. Probably not something I should be bragging about. They are also made not that far away in Maryland.

4. Baker’s Best by Feel Good Treat Co. (unknown value)

What dog wouldn’t love salmon, maple glaze, and blueberry compote? Rocco didn’t turn these treats away! They also sell doggy cupcakes which I now think I will be buying for his birthday.

5. Heartland Premium (unknown value)

Heartland-Premium

This is a 100% natural Angus tenderloin. While I’m sure it is probably totally safe for my doggy’s sensitive stomach, BarkBox would never include anything that isn’t safe, I won’t be giving this to Rocco. Why? Because I can’t find a website for this product anywhere online to do more research. There was no site listed on the BarkBox card either. That drives me totally crazy. How can there not be a website??

All totaled the February BarkBox had a total value of $19.24 not including the two unknown value items. Rocco will be enjoying 4 out of the 5 items this month so that’s worth the cost of $19/month for a 6-month subscription.
