How quick the months fly by! Before we know it, Christmas will be here. Am I getting too far ahead of myself?? I might be. September was a fun month. Lot’s of time spent outside. Here in NY, it felt like summer most days which I totally enjoyed! The cooler weather really didn’t reach us until a few days ago.

Achievement: I ate pretty healthy this month! Lot’s of overnight oats and smoothies packed with fruits, veggies, peanut butter, chia seeds. I definitely like to pack my smoothies but you’ll never catch me detoxing and here’s why. Here is my current favorite overnight oats recipe.

Books: I started reading the Harry Potter series and I am hooked! I never read the books before and I think I picked the perfect time of year to read them. Something about the fall just reminds me of Harry Potter. I guess it’s because Halloween is around the corner?

TV: Fall shows are back! In the past years I found myself more excited for fall TV and this year I’m just a little eh about it. There’s nothing new that really caught my eye. How to Get Away with Murder is the only show I’m really obsessing over. American Horror Story seems to be better than last season too. Any other AHS fans enjoying this season so far?

Eats: Pumpkin, pumpkin and more pumpkin. Has anyone tried pumpkin spice Oreos? They are amazing! I’m back to drinking pumpkin smoothies a lot.

Decor: I decorated the house for fall earlier this month while it was still 95 degrees out. I love summer weather but I love fall decor. I can’t get enough of Pier 1’s glass pumpkins. They are just so pretty.

Beauty: I went on a Sephora shopping binge and am now a VIB Rouge member! Free makeovers here I come! Who else enjoys having their makeup done at Sephora? I’ll be sharing my thoughts on what I purchased next month.

Looking forward to: Halloween! Don’t think I’ll be dressing up this year but I still love decorating the house and eating all the candy! I also can’t wait to make this pumpkin bread recipe.

I love the layout of your blog! Yay, to being healthy! I watched the first episode of AHS and loved it, but I found it to spooky to watch by myself. I think in October I will try and start watching it again because I did really enjoy what I did see. Anyway, have a great Friday 🙂

Happy Fall I got the Pumpkin Spice Oreos and they were good. I bought the iced Pumpkin coffee too. Don’t think I’ll be losing any weight this season.
